Mr. Brown has been off the track since he was 4 and was immediately started with the intention of making him a fox hunter. Right from the start he had the perfect temperament for the job. He's always been very laid back, never spooky, great on the trails both alone or in company, excellent with the hounds and large groups of horses. He started in the second and third fields and quickly moved up to hunt comfortably in all fields. He's hunted mostly with Blue Ridge but has hunted all over Northern Virginia with amateur riders. He's a good jumper and has a lovely comfortable canter stride. He's brave and surefooted, goes through water, creeks, has plenty of stamina and is a fun, safe, made field hunter that truly knows his job. He also goes nicely in the ring, moves off your leg, can get the gates, stands at the checks and in general is a very well educated, mannerly gentleman! He has excellent barn and ground manners, loads, clips, ties, excellent for the vet and farrier as well. He's also the perfect trail horse both alone or in company and is a very willing, pleasant partner! Mr. Brown is ready to enjoy a great hunting season with his new partner. He's currently hunting and ready to go!
