Gelding

8yr

16.1 Hands

16.1h 8yr TB g. Amateur friendly, cuter mover with a good jump, nice prospect for the TB Show Hunter Divisions. Has hilltopped and hunted first field for two seasons now. Great all around prospect.

"Hero" is by Here’s Zealous x Merril-Forest Camp mare. Hero (reg. "Hereosaurus Rex") is a talented prospect for the regular and TB show hunter divisions. In the ring, he is completely amateur proof! He has lovely form over fences, auto lead changes, is a lovely hunter mover, and also very brave. He likes to go slow in the ring, but can pick up the pace when asked to do so outside, and is nicely forward in the hunt field. Goes side-saddle, and has x-c schooled. He is currently jumping courses 2'9"- 3’ at home, and showing at 2’6”. His flat work is VERY good, very flexible and accepts contact. He is easy enough to be finished by a junior or amateur with a trainer. He is the same in the ring whether ridden every day or every 10 days. He goes in a rubber snaffle for everything, has excellent ground manners, is not spooky, and is very good at getting gates. No vices. He hilltopped eleven times in the 2017-2018 season with Piedmont Fox Hounds and Middleburg Hunt, and went first field in the 2018-2019 season with Piedmont and Snickersville.
