Ivan is handsome and eye catching with a beautiful head and kind eye. He's very sturdy without being too heavy and is truly a dream come true for someone that wants the ultimate fox hunter. His gaits are extremely comfortable and he is 100% rider and amateur friendly. He's totally uncomplicated and wants to please, no agenda, no spook, just a very willing and pleasant best friend. He's started eventing and is a brave, well behaved, fun and talented partner. He rides out alone or in company, he's extremely sure footed, he'll lead or follow as he has plenty of confidence. He's brave and honest to the jumps and has plenty of scope, he doesn't rush his fences and he pulls up easily as well. He hunted all last season and this season has been hunting regularly with Blue Ridge. He's great with the hounds, stands quietly at the checks and is perfectly calm when the other horses are bouncing off him! He's pretty well educated and could certainly make a nice low level event horse as well. He has perfect barn and ground manners and even comes when he's called in the field. He was born with an old soul and the most wonderful disposition you could ask for. Ivan is a solid citizen who promises you many fun, awesome years of hunting, showing, trail riding and being your next best friend. This is a very special young horse that is ready for his new partner. Great for the vet and farrier, loads, clips, ties and is safe and sound!
